“Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace” workshop by Total for the Youth of AL Dhafra Region

Total in the UAE conducted a workshop on “Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace” during Emirates Foundation Youth Summit 2018, where more than 45 young women attended from AL Dhafra region.

The interactive workshop shared Total diversity and inclusion best practices with a particular focus on women, youth and people of determination (people with physical disability).

This workshop was also an opportunity for the attendees to share their thoughts on the strength and challenges of diversity in the workplace for the focus groups. At the end of the workshop, a diversity and inclusion charter was put together by the participants and they proposed that this would be shared with Total’s management as an expression of their ideas based on the communities where they live and work, and on guiding principles and drivers for further inclusion.
