Total in the UAE meets with the Ministry of Climate Change & Environment UAE

UAE Ministry of Environment and Climate Change

As part of Total Foundation's stakeholder engagement plan, Total in the UAE met with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, a key stakeholder in the company’s role to address global challenges that have a direct relationship with its long-term business strategy.

The visit was an excellent opportunity for Total and the Ministry to discuss their strategic partnership and the vision of the UAE to enhance cooperation in the environmental, agricultural and transportation sectors.

In addition to being a sponsor of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands (COP13), which will be held at Dubai in October 2018, Total has a long standing partnership in varied environmental projects such as the Dugong Conservation & Research program, Al Wathba Wetland Reserve development and the VALVOMETRY Research programme which was conducted in Total Abu Al Bukhoosh offshore platform.
