In line with Total Foundation's pillar "Youth Inclusion and Education", Total in the UAE donated computers to the community initiative, Sandooq Al Watan, that comes as part of the commitment to UAE's private sector towards Social Responsibility.

They launched the Emirati Coder program, in cooperation with Dark Matter and Aldar, which aims to teach young UAE nationals (aged 7-14) the basics of coding in a fun and interactive way. The objective of this initiative is to increase the student's competitive advantage when job hunting in the future and to contribute towards the establishment and development of technology services in different fields of UAE.

As of December 2018, the program has taught 1,310 Emirati children the basics of computer coding and aims to teach 2,500 children and enrol 500 in advanced coding programs by 2020.
