Total’s participation to 24th World Energy Congress – A Success Story
Total participated as a Platinum Sponsor in the 24th World Energy Congress held in Abu Dhabi from 9-12 September 2019. The event welcomed 70 ministers, 500 CEOs, 250 high-level speakers, and over 600 media and delegates from over 150 countries across the entire energy spectrum.
Total was present for the first time with a 300 sqm stand at Hall 5. Highlights of the Total stand was Subsea Glider, Total Marketing Middle East and Total Solar Middle East, Our Achievements., Total at a Glance, an Occulus taking the visitors for a tour in a LCC Career, a Virtual Reality experience of an Ice Class LNG Career, Customer Capture Utilisation and Storage Value Chain, Meeting Growing Demand – Natural Gas and R&D, 4 Pillars of Total Foundation, History of the Group, Total in the UAE, Asia Pacific Service Stations , Total's initiative on Taking Climate Challenges and a display of Total-Corbion's PLA thermoformed cups.
In his ICC Plenary Session held on the opening day, Patrick Pouyanné. Chairman and CEO of Total, talked about Energy transition, Climate and NOC- IOC partnerships.
